PRODUCT INFO
Sometimes one special piece is all it takes to make you feel completely dressed up.

I made this choker for the days when you want something a little more romantic, dramatic and impossible to overlook.

At the centre is a handmade porcelain rose, painted with gold lustre while leaving touches of white porcelain visible underneath. I added five tiny cubic zirconia stones for just a little sparkle, then placed it on a soft, double-sided velvet ribbon.

Choose black for something classic and slightly dramatic, red for a bolder romantic look, or navy for something refined, understated and a little unexpected.

Whichever colour you choose, the combination of velvet, gold and porcelain gives the choker a modern-vintage feeling—elegant and nostalgic, but still distinctive enough to feel completely your own.

Wear it with an open neckline or a simple dress and let one special piece transform the whole look.

WEIGHT & COMFORT
The choker weighs approximately 13 g, so it feels substantial enough to make a statement without feeling heavy around your neck. The double-sided velvet ribbon feels soft and smooth against the skin, while the 5 cm extension chain allows you to adjust the fit from approximately 30.5 to 35.5 cm.

CARE ADVICE

High-fired porcelain can be stronger than it looks, but like all ceramics, it can chip or break if dropped or struck against a hard surface. Wear it normally, handle it with care and avoid contact with hard or sharp objects.

Gold- and silver-plated finishes naturally change and gradually fade with wear. Thoughtful care will help your jewellery stay beautiful for longer.

  • Avoid direct contact with water, perfume, soap, hand sanitiser, cosmetics, moisturisers, oils and household chemicals. Allow skincare and perfume to dry before putting on your jewellery.
  • Remove your jewellery before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping. If it gets wet, gently pat it dry with a soft cloth.
  • Handle chains, clasps and other components gently, without pulling or twisting them.
  • After wearing, gently wipe your jewellery with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishing cloths, as these may damage the plated finish.
  • Store each piece separately in a dry place, preferably in its original packaging, to protect it from moisture, scratches and impact.

THE STORY BEHIND YOUR PIECE

Every POPORCELAIN piece begins as humble clay and passes through a slow process of shaping, refining, glazing and firing before becoming wearable art.

Each porcelain element is shaped and finished by hand in my Copenhagen studio. Most require two or three firings—more than 15 hours in the kiln at temperatures reaching 1280°C.

Subtle handmade variations give every piece its own character, so you receive something personal and expressive rather than jewellery produced by the thousands—made to be worn, noticed and enjoyed.
